While great that they are going through the quote process, its not gonna go past that IMO. Sad, but true.

It's posted on LS1tech and all of the typical naysayers are shitting it up again as per usual.

How many of LTX fans would help rise funds for tooling and how many of us would spend 2,500 for a block?

The two piece rear main ruins it.

I could see were it would be useful because it's easier to get a 2 piece rear seal crank then it's to get a one piece. I know to get forged rotating assembly and not billet is from Callies magnum or dragonslayer. When I priced a Rotating assembly it was rated at 1,800 hundred horse for a bargain price of 4,500. Six months ago. The one pice seal cranks

If you can get a block that could handle 38 pounds of boost and a couple thousand horsepower and keep the integrity of the second gen LTX. That could be modified and remain strong. And decrease the probability of failure.

Here's the kicker though....

For under 100 bucks you can use a 2 piece RMS crank in a 1 piece RMS block. You can't go the other way. They are narrowing the margin of sales by doing a 2 piece....
There's already been several people say it would without a doubt be a no go for them. They need to take the feedback and make a change
