I have a chance to buy red UMI lower adjustable A-Arms for drag racing for $300.
I like the price and they seem to be in very good condition, but I'm not too sure about them being drag version and not street.

Does anyone know if their is even a noticeable difference between the Street and Drag A-Arm?

Should I just pass on these, because the street drive will be horable. When the car is finally ready I will only drive it once or twice a month on the street and will only make it to the track rarely, but I will want to preform well.

As of right now I'm going to buy some cheap stock lower A-arms from Summit for $180 with new bushings and ball joint. They have been on back order for a month now and still haven't shipped. This will have to be on the car for at least two years, before I buy something better. Spending $800 on arms is not at the top of my the list.

Originally, I was planning to remove all the bushings and ball joints, get the a arm power coated and put MOOG back in everything, but the rust was so bad I pushed the a arm metal in and the metal around the metal bushing didn't get pushed out on the other side of the a arm. I messed it up and buying a new a arm, power coating, putting MOOG, and going through all that trouble is not worth it to me.

Below are the Dorman brand I'm looking to buy from Summit for $180 and I can also get the Duralast from Autozone for $206 TODAY.

What do you think I should do?

My street arms from umi had more reinforcing, and they guaranteed them for life. The drag ones are lighter but plenty strong, but I wouldn't wanna hit a normal pothole with them

Thanks for the input SSlowboat and Sahara54. I didn't buy them. I think the ride was going to be horrible and they were red.

I just went ahead and bought these for $450. A guy was selling them on Craigslist and he never put them on his car. They are brand new and came with the bolt kit too. Not a bad deal.

That's what I had. The poly/rod ones in red. Didn't make the ride rougher, made the car handle like it was on rails.
