New member here, hello to all! I picked up a new ride yesterday, a 96 Camaro SS #1971 with 32k miles. It feels good to be back in a 4th Gen. Got this car through the Chevy dealer I work at. Had to wait 30 days until I could purchase it at my cost. Got the car for $6700. Really surprised it didn't sell in that 30 days though the dealer was asking 12k. It is an immaculate car, but missing the ram air box and slp 2otl muffler and tailpipes. It does have a p600b procharger with twin intercoolers. It also has slp shorty headers, Kenny Brown sub frames and stb, hpm? lcas and panhard bar, and eibach drag launch kit. The procharger is coming off along with the drag launch kit. I have sourced the air box and exhaust to put the car back to original. Might be selling the procharger at some point if anyone is interested. Will get some pics posted soon!

I still can't believe I got it for the price I paid. Wish it was all original, but I can't complain. Now, operation "remove procharger."

I'd be interested in some of the procharger parts. I have a p600b head unit and brackets. No plumbing, fueling, and the pullies are too high boost

I might separate some of the stuff, not sure yet. I am almost done with my 84 bird that has a 93 LT1/T56(M29) swap. I would love to put it in that car but that requires me to swap k members and convert to rack and pinion steering. Not sure I want to do that. I have spent way too much time with that build to make last minute changes that will delay its completion. This kit has 36lb injectors and a fpr. No FMU, it's been done right. The ecm has been tuned, but there is also a digicon smart spark in the glove box that is not connected. That thing is a dinosaur! I have no instructions for it either. When it comes time to sell it, I will post it. Not sure what to price it at anyway.

Damn I'm so jealous!
I always wanted and loved LT1 SS Camaros. They look so mean to me.
What color, t-tops, auto or stick?
Get some pictures up already! Lol

It's Red, auto, and t-tops(which I am not a fan of). I kinda like the fact it is an auto though. I have the bird to row the gears in! I will get pics up tonight.

I want this car to stay as original as possible other than some suspension and full exhaust. I have an 84 Bird with a LT1/T56(M29) that is the play car. It was a specialty built car since new and it never had the original motor or trans. I stripped my 93 Z28 due unibody damage and put everything in the bird. Only thing I saved from the Bird was the Doug Nash 5spd. My Firebird only has 28k original miles on it. I just don't understand why someone would take the parts off of the car that made it an SS. I can understand the air box due to the Procharger, but why take the 2otl off for a flowmaster and a gay ass chrome tip.
