Due to some recent forecasted and somewhat anticipated developments, I'm finding myself making a decision concerning my Corvette that I honestly was NOT expecting to make.

Gave Tony Mamo a ring. Working up a package for "Mamofied" AFR 235 NFI (Nitrous Forced Induction) heads, 10mm Yella Terra rocker upgrade, and a new custom cam. Probably doing a deposit in June with an August Payoff/ship date. Just in time for a fall install and tune. 1K RWHP or bust.

Heads that are on the car currently are Patriot Stage 2.5 317's. Has a baby Lingenfelter GT2-3 cam (208/220, .571/.587, 118.5* LSA) also.

No spray. These heads have a LOT more runner volume without any port speed sacrifices, and decks more than twice as thick as the GM stuff according to Tony. I.E. they'll tolerate much greater cylinder pressures without lifting/pushing water. The exhaust ports are insane on them also. Between 260-270 CFM of flow, perfect for a turbo car. We're also trading up to a single pattern cam, and I won't be surprised if he puts it into the low 230's, which will still be pretty tame all things considered.

Tony thinks, at the same boost level, that I should bolt on 125ish RWHP with these heads and a new cam. Just add a little boost and I should see the 1K mark, which is my end goal.

shownomercy Yeah, four bolt heads. There's lots of guys making 1K or more on 4 bolts heads. It's all in the tune, deck thickness, etc. Tony and I spoke at length about this these heads were specifically designed with more deck thickness than a typical NA AFR head to combat lifting issues.
SexyTransAm at least I got someone! ;) Sorry man.

I don't think it'll be pushing it. In lower mid 800's right now at 16 lbs boost. Tony flat out said I'll bolt on a solid 100 to 125 at the same boost level. That leaves me some minor tweaking from the four figure spot without having to terribly stress everything, or push it all to the limit.

Good thing is we have a very competent tuner locally who can actually road tune and track tune instead of always laying everything up on the dyno.
