1997 Z28 Build

I picked up this nice Polo Green Z28 from mikey4play last November. It was a nice setup with only 64k miles on the car

LE2 heads
LE ported intake
LE 227/235 110 LSA cam
LPP Headers & custom Y-pipe w/ Vibrant 3.5" merge
Magnaflow Single 3.5" exhaust
8.8 Rear End
UMI rear suspension
C5 front brakes

1st of the year I decided to change up a few things. So I ordered up some new parts and out came the jackstands

Strange S60 narrowed 3" per side, spool, 35 spline axles, 5/8 studs
Strange Pro Series rear brakes
Strange chromoly driveshaft

Billet Specialties Street Lites
15x4's (2.25" BS) with 165/80r15
15x10's (4.5" BS) with 275/60r15 Nittos

Also bought LS1 front brakes, spindles, etc to be able to run 15" wheels up front. It needs a good cleaning but glad to have it off the jack stands.

Last pic reminded me that I changed up the exhaust too. Since the car already had a nice y-pipe I decided to stick with a single. So I ordered

Kooks 3.5" Race Series Muffler
(2) Stainless 3.5" turndowns off of Ebay (15" long each & I cut the ends off of the turndowns)

This setup saved around 30lbs compared to the previous Magnaflow setup.
