What are you guys running for racing seats ? I want to get a Corbeu or a sparco but I need something that's ratchet shifter friendly (I can shift comfortably without problem), I've been looking but not quite sure just yet

Corbeau LG1s. Try to find a place to test any seat if possible. Every ass is different.

Very true. I had my mind set on LG1's and they're a very nice seat but I'm too damn tall for them. I realized this after sitting In a demo chair. I fit more comfortably in the Corbeau RRS I believe it's called. Definitely recommend sitting in them at a local dealer

I have a Corbeau Forza with their slider mount specifically for the F-Body. Shifter is a B&M Pro-Ratchet, in the stock 6-speed console. I can post a picture in the morning. Tonight my brain is scrambled from 2-1/2 hours of Joe Satriani, live. That man kicks ass.

If you can live without the slider you can save 10#.

I have a Corbeau forza as well in a 6 speed car with the dual locking slider. I got my drivers seat for around $450 to my door and have a second one coming in today for the passenger side as well. I have no problems rowing through the gears with this seat and I love the seating position (I am 5'11). I haven't done any long distance driving yet (2+ hours) but I have never been uncomfortable while driving

The only thing I don't like about the Forza (this is at least a 14 year old version of the seat) is the headrest area kicks forward at a slight angle. It's OK without a helmet, but with a helmet, it seems to keep the head a little more forward than I like.

Aftermarket seats tend to sit higher than stock or I assume the back of the chair is just taller? They all seem to be awfully close to the top! And man that seat has held up really well being 14 years old. Definitely investing in corbeau now.

Jeez, I haven't weighed that since my sophomore year in high school. Life was easy back then cause stuff actually fit. Now I'm just tall and fat lol, well in decent shape but no way I'm stuffing my ass in a fixed back you guys are crazy for that. You can't "gangster lean" in fixed backs lol.
