Just got the new motor in my car and decided to replace the injectors. I am pretty sure they sent the wrong ones though, but I figured I would check. The fat ones were on it, the thin ones are the new ones.

What's wrong with them?/they look to be same body as the gtp or maybe a knock of fast 36lbers. Ev1 connector.
Just make sure the retaining clip fits.

I honestly wasn't sure if there was anything wrong, I've just never seen them like that before

What kind of injectors should they be?

I was trying to get SVO 30#'s from a local shop, and this is what showed up

They are updated Bosch pencil style injectors. They will fit, u just need to either take a razor blade and make a groove for the clip or use no clips and double oring the bottom.

If you don't do either you are risking ur fp pushing the injector out of the rail into the intake and spraying fuel all over your headers. Ask me how I know

My 24s are the newer slim style. They work fine but as stated make sure you get them secured in the rail correctly.

Is double o-ringing the bottom a legit solution? I have a back injector leaking a lil fuel. How would you double o ring the bottom when only 1 fits on the injector? Do you just push an o-ring into the intake and then the injector down?

On a Bosch pencil style injector you roll one up over the next groove, look at the above picture.

My firebird I sold 2 years ago still hasn't caught on fire, so I'd say it's legit

Never had problems with the bosch 3s on my stock 96 intake. When I went to the LT4 I had one push out of the rail and spray fuel everywhere. The double o-rings stop that from happening. I would do it as a precaution.

I've seen that before but didn't think it was this popular. Do you use the retaining clip?

I did the razor or hacksaw mod ( made the slot go all the way around) so the factory retaining clips fit.
Been 7 years.
