I hit 11's!!!!!!!!!

hit 11's yesterday for the 1st time.... stock bottom end, stock intake and throttle body, LE2 heads and custom cam, 1.6 roller rockers, K&N cold air intake, ebay 1 3/4 headers, summit 3inch x-pipe with dynomax bullets dumped, stage 2 t56, stock clutch, driveshaft, rear end, and suspension, nitto drag radials out back, no wieght reduction... oh, stock fuel system w/ 30# injectors.... oh, MSD ignition w/ 2step, and line lock...

No it can vary hugely. Get some 45 degree air and high baro pressure and watch the air turn negative.

Thnx man... she was really pulling hard out there... its was only my third time out, im amateur at best lol... previously i bested a 13.7 from idle, used the 2step this time and i was pleasantly surprised!!!

I'm pretty surprised . I ran an 11.5 with my 2002 ls1 heads and cam car and trapped 121 as well. I made 425whp . 60ft was 1.7. So I'm still baffled my the mph. If it was an auto with a nice stall I would believe the time , still not the mph. My car was a stripper and weighed 3000lbs as well. You sure you didn't buy the car with a 383 or something. I'm not hating but that's a great time for an LT1

Hey guys, sorry for the late response... i wasnt alerted that i had replies... any way... im just as surprised as all of u are, and the more i think about it, im starting to wonder if this was some type of computer mishap with the track... reason being, i went out in the car last friday night, the temp was around 38 to 40 degrees, and my first pass i clocked 12.7 at around 109 with a 2.0 sixty ( bogged off the line ). Then a couple hrs later, i ran it again and according to everyone i was with, i ran an 11.8 according to the board... but my ticket said 12.7 with a 1.9 sixty.. i have a video of that run, cant see the time in it, but if someone can tell me how to post it, i will

Naw... im definitely car 54... thats the number i get every time i run... and on all my slips, even the solo slips... unless the computer switched them... but no way that stock mustang i ran on that slip was and 11 sec car... i beat him by at least a car and a half

Nice run, my 02 was a z28 stripper package but m6. If it were an auto with a stall , it would of gone low 11's. That was 10 years ago when I was single. Now I have a 94 Buick roadmaster . Stock bottom end . Out of the box
185cc TFS heads, cc502, summit
Long tubes, ewp, intake, pypes x pipe full exhaust . Built trans and 3200 edge converter . 3650 race weight . On motor 12.6 at 108 . 100 shot 11.56 at 116. The car is a beater . Cost me 1700 bucks. It hooks better then any camaro I've had . High 1.6's on motor and low 1.5's on spray . Btw the 11.56 was at 3800 DA

Yeah, after last week, im starting to put two and two together... im just as happy with the 12, i mean hell, my first few times out, i could only best 14.8. So driver mod shaved 2 sec off... i'll take it. Now i jus need to figure out how to change this thread to " I hit 12's "... not quite the same ring to it.... lol
