So I just picked up a P1SC and had a few questions..Engine wise, details are mostly in my signature and fuel system wise I'm running 42lb injectors and a walbro 255..Was curious though on how safe it'll be since I'm running flat top pistons and at 11:1 compression.I know the P1 can be stock friendly on a bottom end so I'm kinda not worried about it.Also are 42lb injectors sufficient? Lastly I have a TCI trans cooler mounted on my radiator, would that possibly interfere with how the intercooler fits or will it sit lower? I know you can usually see the intercooler when the fog lights are removed so I'm assuming it sits a little lower. Thanks for any feedback.Looking into pulling the engine apart next year and doing different heads and blower cam, along with a D1 impeller.

It all depends on the intercooler ur running. Mine sits horizontally umder the motor, in front of the oil pan so its not near anything.

Also... I dont know if u have enough injector... im running 60# injectors on a maxed out p1sc... with my heads that means about 10 #'s, so u may be ok since u should not be going over 6 lbs on a high compression motor...

That is a lot of compression for boost. You'll likely need some bigger injectors, but if you're only running a couple # of boost and changing the setup in a year, it may not be worth the money. You'll know when you try to tune. May be worth keeeping an eye out for some 60's.

Without knowing where you are on HP without the blower, but assuming you're approaching 500 at the flywheel, the injectors look a bit light for 6# of boost. But rather than change the injectors, consider bumping the fuel pressure to 58 PSI, so they flow 48 #/HR.

What brand/type are the injectors?

How big is the fuel pump? What brand?

Ran out of fuel with a 255 42lb svo injectors on a heads cam p600b build. Just get 60's and dual pump setup now to be safe and have room to grow

Thanks for the feedback gents, besides possibly starving for fuel,my car still has the TC and ABS system in it and I'm just now finding out it won't fit with all that lol..Oh and to who asked I have racetronix 42lb injectors and walbro 255.I was planning on just being able to slap this baby on and have some fun but looks like not lol..Any good advice on how to deal with this..It's primarily a street car for the weekends so I don't want to get rid of ABS,TC is always turned off soon as I get in the car lol.Ive read around on it some but don't see any clear write ups or anything on getting rid of or relocating this stuff. Thanks again!

U may be able to clock the blower and move the abs block... but i can tell u in my set up... tc and abs were gone as well as grinding some tabs off that held the block in place.

What will ur tuning plans be? "Slap it on and have some fun" is a very short lived time period.

Was going to trailer it over to pcm4less since I'm just next door in Indy to get it tuned after install. But by slap it on and have fun I meant I was hoping for an easy direct install and run low boost and get some extra power.

Well shit..Tuning these things is such a pita around here..But if anyone has any ideas or links on how to keep ABS or just relocate this crap it would be greatly appreciated.Otherwise I may try to just flip the procharger since I picked it up for a steal, and get back to chasing more power NA.I never really had plans for boost at first honestly but I couldn't pass up the deal,so I thought I'd give it a shot.

My ABS block is still in place and the bracket that holds it was ground down a bit in some areas to clear the blower. No issues and works just fine.

blackbirdws6 I can't believe out of all the reading around I've done so far,I haven't seen a solution that simple yet lol,I might just give that a try!

I think a lot of folks ditch ABS when going racecar but I like the foot massage in a panic situation.

U can do that still. Will just take some upgrades and unfortunately the removal or relocation of ur abs.

Didn't you lose cruise control though?

I originally had it relocated and then ditched it since I never use it.

Right, wasn't sure, few years back is getting hazy these days

But TC/Cruise are the same for the OP's car so def will need to relocated.
