Finally got a decent dyno pull on my 355 LE2. Last time the transmission was acting up and didn't get a good pull. Rebuilt the trans and got 1 pull to 5200 Rpm. 359 rwhp and 454 rwtq. This was also on a mustang dyno. The tuner said that it's still making power but didn't want to push it farther cause it was building too much crankcase pressure. They're going to get a breather for the valve cover next week and see if that helps. Hopefully she'll pull to 6500.

I don't think that torque number is right. I think it's too high.

Locked in 3rd? Torque will be higher since the converter multiplies.

Torque and hp should cross at 5200 right?

5,252 RPM

HP = (torque x RPM) / 5,252

Auto trans pull will typically have a big spike when you nail the throttle, due to converter torque multiplication.

Thanks!

That's probably the best compliment I've ever received in the 18+ years I've been on sites like this. It is truly appreciated.

In the end we all learn from each other, and I learn something new every day, much of it from this site.

And thank you Larry.
