View Full Version : LT1 Turbo kit

Decided to part out the LTx setup and move on.

Front mount Log Manifold style T6 flange. 3" in/out on A2A intercooler (ebay). 3" steel coldside. Intercooler mounted in the standard bumper support location. Was told this kit was built around a BMR Tubular k-member but worked fine with my PA racing tubular. Radiator will need to be stood up to run this kit.

Turbo is a Borg Warner S-475 T6 flange (p/n 171702, MOD-s400s062, 1.32a/r). Small amount of shaft play.

Wastegate is a Precision 44mm. I think, will verify and edit.

BOV is Tial.

Kit is ugly, welds are ugly, but it made steam and performed great.

I can sell as a complete almost (need injectors and tune) turn key turbo kit, or I can keep the turbo and sell the hotside/coldside and you supply a turbo.

$2500 Complete Turbo Kit (just needs injectors and tune)
$1500 For everything minus turbo.

Said it made decent power "nothing to brag about" what else was done to the engine running it? Any track passes? Just wondering what the potential is. Like you said Kit doesn't look like much but if it works hey whynot lol. Probably won't work with a stock K..

I was told this kit made 800whp+ on a 383 LTx with AFR heads and went mid 9's on 16-18lbs of boost.

Not sure about the stock k-member but I would entertain selling my PA-racing tubular.
