Let's get your guesses in here guys, I'll put a small poll at the top. Specs are as follows:
Ellwein 383
-9.0ish compression
-Oliver splayed 4 bolt, cola crank, Callie's 6.0 rod, Wiseco dished Pistons
-LE2 heads, LE custom blower grind (229/239 .565/.587 112lsa)
-scorpion 1.6 rr
-.040 cometics
-ported intake
-Siemens 60lb
-TPIS 58mm dual blade
-Lonnies double pumper 255's with 4psi Hobbs switch
-Procharger p600b pullied to just under max blower speed (should be around 9-10)
-CX Racing 3" intercooler, the big one, Procharger bullet open blow off valve
-LPP Longtubes, ory, lm1
-Pro Torque 9.5" billet faced 3200 stall
-CPT Pro Race 4l60e with billet output shaft
-aluminum driveshaft and 3.42 10 bolt for now (eeeeek)
motor dyno'd on engine dyno na at 490/490 hp/tq with a carb and dual plane
will we see 500whp or more?
car goes down on Monday.

Well i know what mine makes, and that blower is not that much smaller. Mine is maxed out with the 3.4 pulley. Idk what pulley ur running.
The auto will hurt him... but the 10 bolt will not hurt as much as my 9"....
Not sure how much difference there is from the le2s to my 227s.
Hoping to see mid to high 500s.

I think your poll numbers are out of whack. If it made 490/490 on an engine dyno, it would be around 400 or so to the wheels. Add a moderate amount of boost, and keep everything in check and it had better make over 550, or something is wrong. You have some very high-end parts in there. Cola cranks are not cheap! How many lbs of boost do you plan to run?

I'm with Joelster. I think if you pulley it right that it should easily eclipse the 550 mark. Trans/Stall is going to bump the driveline loss up, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see in the ~600 range. Looks like a solid healthy build. Now put an F1A on it afterwards.

Its pullied to make 10psi on a stock motor, it has a 12 rib setup with smaller crank pulley. The math works out to be just below max impeller rpm at 6500rpm. Rpm limited by self aligning rockers as well. When they came out with the p1sc the impeller rpm rating went up higher, hence more boost from them. Otherwise, it is the same as a p1sc. I don't think it's gonna make close to @popo8 (http://ltxtech.com/forums/member.php?u=1330) because of the stock casting heads and such. The bottom end was built to handle a nuclear war, just in case he decides to throw that whipple 2.9l @firebird_1995 (http://ltxtech.com/forums/member.php?u=4287) whipped up
the block and crank were used parts, as was the p600b, has unknown mileage on it.

They might be stock casting heads, but those heads obviously flow enough to almost hit 500 with a low compression engine. Crank the compression and put a hotter cam and it'd hit 540 or so at the crank. Those heads will not be the crutch when you crank the boost up.

Here's how I'm figuring it. Let's use a conservative 75% efficiency from the supercharger. At 10 PSI you're adding 51% of atmosphere to the motor (10 PSI / 14.7 bar * .75 efficiency). So say a rough output of 151%. That when coupled with the 490/490 puts you at about 740 on an engine dyno with the blower. Now let's get conservative again and say that the drivetrain is eating up a solid 25% of the engine power. You're conservatively and potentially looking at about 555 at the tires. I think based off this above (blowers are usually in the 80 to 85% efficiency range and drivetrains with higher stalls and autos are typically 18 to 20%) and the conservative numbers you can definitely see higher.

It'd be pretty cool to come close to Larry's numbers with the baller heads and stuff, but I don't think it will happen. We will see. Same tuner lol

He just wants to enjoy it on the street first, it'll end up going to the track at some point next year. Think it's gonna just have drag radials on the ss wheels. This is just so it's tuned to be beat on. Like rolling burnout whenever car. Remember, most of it is used parts. That cola crank is from the 90's

I agree, maxing blowers leaves alot of meat on the bone.
The craptispark spark and stock pcm does as well.
That motor will wake the f up on boost.(like its meant to)

I would think the 2Bar would be preferable. It'll actually read positive manifold pressure as opposed to the stock 1Bar will only read up to a flat barometric reading, then you're essentially guessing/interpolating (if you're in SD mode).

Exactly, it reads from -14.7 to positive 14.7, and what it does is cut the map value in half. So map will read 30-35 at idle as opposed to 60-65 kpa. 0 becomes 50 kpa as opposed to 100

I have almost the same setup with ERE#20 and a D1SC. I am going to say about 550-560 to the wheels. King Karl builds some nice engines! I have had mine for a couple years now and I love it. 40+mph burnouts = :D

Supposedly one of the guys broke his foot in shop, so joe the owner is working in shop too and they are backed up or some bs like that. Said they were starting it monday, idn wtf they are doing to it, considering it just needs to be strapped on dyno and tuned. No updates of them finding something wrong or issues etc. Not exactly happy, and niether is osie.
Tune time would've been done by now, I think if it's not done soon, it will be going there instead.

He said he wasn't looking at the dyno, he was looking at the data log and saw it spike lean then let off. New pump came in yesterday, hopefully depending on the snow today or Monday have some numbers.

Waiting for Marcel to send osie the dyno sheet and stuff to take a look at some things and do some math. He said flat out their dyno dynos auto cars low, said they had a cobra jet with an auto dyno at 400 it was swapped a stick and it made 505..

Ive been trying to understand... and reading up, but i still dont understand how a stall can make a car show less hp. Does the car still not have the same amount of power, only engagement 100% to the wheels happens at a higher rpm... so technically when at wot, shouldnt it not matter what stall is?

No, because dynos are based on time and rpm. If a high stall sits at an rpm and due to the loading flashes the converter, it will read lower. A dyno is looking for 1:1 locked from beginning of run to end of run, not just at peak. If they had a reluctor checking crank speed and out put shaft speed you could do a formula to find it correctly.
Either that, or its down on power, which is unlikely. Until I see the dyno graph etc I'm done drawing conclusions.

Well ill tell u now. For a hands on tune. He is the best around here. Worth the wait. Hell they had my car for 6 months and with as many tuners thay have physically tried tuning it (not mail orders)... the only one that could make it 100% was marcello.
Dyno day is 2 mo away...

The head unit isn't that small either, it's the same as a p1sc, just maxes out 2000 rpm earlier on shaft speed.

The head unit isn't that small either, it's the same as a p1sc, just maxes out 2000 rpm earlier on shaft speed.

Same impeller, different bearings. Yours has the better bearings as its self contained, so the max shaft speed is 2k rpm higher.

max shaft speed 60000, p1sc 62000-64000 depending on model. Same volute, inlet, outlet, etc

See above, I apologize, I'm at work and it's turning into the shining.
Wish Marcel and Joe were a little more quick with sending the info etc over so I could look at it and post it up here. As long as the afr checks out and everything else is ok, then dyno day and convince osie to get a few soft track runs in to see mph to guestimate better. Unless converter is blowing thru...

Sounds like the converter isn't locking up? I saw that on a heads/cam LS car that put down 323rwhp. Put down like 100 more when the tuner forced it to lock up in HPT.

Ok, so 425 is the final number? Thats..........really low, even for a stall/auto setup. Unless he's not locking the converter, that'll make a difference. Lots of slip there. That dyno vid ripped right up the RPM band though after he hit it, quite quickly. My guess is if you took it to a track it would perform a LOT better than a 425 RWHP car (trap speed).

425 whp was the number in this video, its definitely making more. Tune is safe now, so at dyno day we will run it again. If my memory serves me right, at the first dyno day there was a red drag camaro with a 383/stall/p600b and he did a pull similar to this, and it put down about the same. Its the way the converter loaded. Car is definitely around 525, now just to prove it. Converter was definitely unlocked.

I would have done locked runs and "stalled or flashed" runs. I don't know why they wouldn't lock it.
Before I jump to conclusions on what's going on I would need to see a dyno graph.
But...
It's a 3200 9 inch converter its not robbing all that power.
With that said dynos don't mean squat they are for rough tunes before hitting the track or street for final tweaks.

One. It should've been locked. Two. He didn't lock the car in third gear either. 3 the data log should've showed if it was down on power. Motor alone made 490/490 na on an engine dyno. So 425whp for an auto with no boost should be correct. But this had 8psi on top of it, idn why the hell its not showing what it should.

I'd find a different dyno quick and just toss it on the rollers. From everything I've ever seen, that dyno spun up so fast that you can simply hear it's making WAY over 425 RWHP.

I found a video of a dyno run I did when I was still running gas. I believe this was the run that it made 593 on. Converter locked. This was after the 2013 shootout and it had ran a best time of 10.39@131 @3750#. The Wallace racing HP calculator estimates it at 595-615 RWHP.
Locking the converter should help make the numbers look better, but the important thing is that the afr and timing are dead on. The proof is in the et/mph, not so much the dyno number

Id agree with fastbird and gm powered about the trans converter. Yes its an auto, but it that 9" core.should be good assuming it was spec'd for the combo, but I'd say it should make 500 plus. If it drives good, sounds healthy, and seat of the pants feels good id take it to the track. Id like to see 125 mph traps on 3500 lb f body with your set up.

I wasn't focused on the numbers but just the dip up at the very top, regardless of whether that was the real rpm. Dyno day should help provide a lot more info. I doubt you will be able to play much with the current weather as is anyway.

Sounds like a cluster f.
You can get close to boost psi with pulley calcs but you won't know until its scanned loaded on the track or road. Some setups breath better than others.

It's home, Marcel explained that he couldn't get the converter to lock at all, dno why, thought it had lock up. Osie stated it felt a little surgier than before until it gets into closed loop. But it feels stronger all around. Marcel again explained he knows its making more, and apologized for the dyno not showing it. It only made 6.5 psi, Afr went down to 11 most of run then towards 6500 it was 11.7. He also explained now any changes can be made email. I screwed up on the impeller math, plus now the motor is built for boost, so we lost some from stock c.I. build. That's OK, they make bigger crank pulleys. He said it's definitely in the 10's with a tire and driver mod

Update: car only made 418whp, converter no likey the dyno, but after some maths after talking to the owner of performance specialties(ltxtech.com dyno day location) based on duty cycle and things car is making roughly 6xx flywheel. Now it needs a tire to make it stick, since it cooks the riken raptors from all mph once it gets into boost even 70mph rolling into it, and then a track trip.
So yes, it only makes 418whp, if any mustangs ask ;)
