Anyone watching this?

I had totally forgotten about this new show till SSlowBoat messaged me and reminded me.

Caught it about 20 minutes in... but set the dvr up to record the encore episode so i could see those 20 minutes.

Seems like its gonna TRY to go head to head with Street outlaws... im sure I even caught some "shots" at "that other group" that trailers their cars (stressing the "street" in STREET RACING).

I enjoy the premice of this show... we will see how the execution goes, as these guys seem extra "red neck."

I'll watch it because any car show is better than normal programming, but it did seem pretty corny last night. I only saw the first half then went to bed but it's DVR'd to finish when i get home tonight.

It was ok, very s.o. like. But I like the legit cars they have. Someone needs to go down there with their nitrous stock bottom end lt1 cough SexyTransAm cough and show these boys what's up lol

Its like street outlaws when it first started, only they mixed in some hillbilly and a bit of that show that didnt last.... the one with the fat performance mechanics.

The guys on SO are also going twice as fast, these guys wrecks probably wouldn't result in rolling 10 times. Probably not the best idea though lol.

Agreed on the speed... but how much does it take for one roll... thats all it would take to climb over it... lol.

These guys are local to me. Farrow motor sports is where I get my vote filled. Rusty is actually the one that usually does it. They have been street racing for years. Those cars are also alot faster then they look on that show.

Well they are putting the numbers out there, no matter how they look. Unless they are fabricating the numbers

I'm not saying they're slow, but they're a lot slower than the cars on SO. RDR is pretty much on par with the cars you'd probably find at the local street races, more grassroots.

It's almost like "reality tv" that's close to reality.... wooooah.

not NHRA, but those cars on the street is much more entertaining than normal cars. I'm all for keeping it on the street and away from the tracks ;)
