Well I got my Intake back from the painter the other night (Thanks YZF for driving out there) and took some pictures, last one's my fav :D

I think it's gonna look damn good with some polished rails on it...car's still got a lot more parts being bought for it and I'm ready to say buh bye high 12's....hello mid 11's ;)

Painted, you can still see some of the swirl marks from when he wet sanded it but after newt Friday he said It would be safe to wax :cool:

Yeah,LS1 intakes usually dont get that warm, most the time you can put your hand on the intake right after running.

if he used good paint (like i do) it will withstand anything. I paint complete motors, blocks, heads, everything. Paint i use doesnt even discolor at the exhaust port. Looks, good, i think painting the engine really makes a car

We had a 48 mile drive. With 35 minutes to get there by 7. We showed up at 7:04 haha.

But we were in a 1.5L Civic so speeding is pretty much out of the question.
