As many of you guys saw, I was able to pick up a super clean 1996 WS6 just before the shootout. Bought it the Wednesday before the shootout and ran it in the Street Stock and True Street Classes. The Car was headers only, and @MoeHorsePower (http://ltxtech.com/forums/member.php?u=1487) put an awesome tune on it! So being it had by far the least mods there, it was the slowest ET car there. However, it was incredibly consistent so I was able to take home the opti for the True Street Class!

Now for the build!

The Goal is to put down an 10 second run in this car before winter hits. I'm going to attempt this with bolt ons, suspension, and some nitrous. Here is a list of what I have already gotten done with the car, but dont have pics of yet. I will post some up tomorrow.

Walbro In Tank 255 LPH Pump
Replaced the Pacesetter Longtubes and ORY with a Set of TSP Stainless longtubes and Pacesetter ORY. (Because the first setup was Welded together and not band clamped.)
!Air
!EGR
Relocated Moly Adjustable Torque Arm
Bolt in LCA Relocation Brackets
Tubular LCA
Bolt in SFC

Now onto the Parts that are waiting to be put on!

Mannnnn... such a great start for ur "challenge" of 10s. If anyone has not seen this car in person, let me tell u... it is immaculate.

Probably one of the cleanest TAs I have ever seen.

I am subscribed and looking fwd to this build and ur projected pre winter goal.

Just trying to get into the 10s Bolt on and spray only. Pretty feasible I think.

Now for the winter build I have something much, much more nasty planned.....

Should be able to get there. Tony q pulled a 10.99 or maybe it was 11.99 all bolt on and weight reduction at cecil like 4 years ago.

I have the same gauge and pillar set up. Not the best gauges. But for the price they work. GL with your goals, should be close.

Guys sorry about the slow response and updates! Super busy. Started the car last night-I have a lot of pics to update in the thread.

I decided not to put the roller rockers in because some die hard folks believe they arent a bolt on. SO it is what it is. Without further adieu here are three finished pics to hold you over until I get the rest up. Car just needs a belt right now. Will be here today.

That's weird. I thought rockers always qualified as a bolt on.

It's got to be asked. So.......who's doing your 24x harness? :rotfl:

I agree. Rockers are def bolt on. Hell if heads are bolt on... how could rockers not be.

:\Sorry I had the y pipe welded to the headers. They were done like that by the muffler shop and I never mentioned to them that they should be band clamped. Although sometimes welded isn't too bad, it's a sure way to not have exhaust leaks.
Also, this build is coming along nice! Great upgrades thus far!
PS. I miss this car

What spark plug wire kit did you use to make your plug wires? Can you provide a part number?
