Jacking bolts and relocated shocks
Camaro leaf springs and sliders with panhard

Getting fab work wrapped up right now.

I live in the mountains of Pa and have friends with vetts and camaros so I want to try and keep up.... Maybe hurt a few feelings in an old truck with used dirt car parts!

Thanks guys. Grandfather bought it new in 88 and was my first set of wheels. Drove it with a few drivetrain combinations favorite being the 4.3 with 7.3 turbo.(So Far)
But it's was time to do it properly.

Drive shaft hoop in tonight. Still need to trim up the tunnel I made for it. 3" body drop. Pa roads suck so need the hard clearance.
33730
Front suspension back on the ground.
33731
All of this why? Because Race Truck.

I'm off to the oil rig for sometime to make money and plan this thing hope everyone's projects and rides TEAR IT UP!!
Have fun

Definitely following this build. Please keep it up to date with pics and news. Nothing worse than following a build, then the person just stops updating and goes MIA. lol

Not right away, but I built the notches tall enough if I did.
It has Afco leafs for a Camaro under it for axle location with just the main leaf left. Going to use coilovers to dial it in.

Any know if the electric water pumps can be used with a rear mounted radiator? I have been looking at mounting the rad in the bed but unsure if I could use the normal elec pump for the housing or would I have to use one of those remote pumps.

Sorry for the radio black out. Life happened for awhile. Truck has moved along some.
I have been working on getting an LT in a sprint car. Just wrapped it up and tried to fire. Having some problems and will be troubleshooting. 37078

Slowly making progress major welding is DONE!! Got it out of the big shop and at the house shop. Setup block and trans are out and working on filling the holes in the firewall. Rear out of my Roadmaster is in and the 4l60e is out for a freshen up. Still have not been able to tune the motor but saving my pennies to get set up to do it myself. BIG BIG shout out to the guys over at EFI Connection for helping me though troubleshooting to narrow the problems and corrective actions needed.

Having issues posting ting pictures for some reason

Pa racers swap meet was a success! Picked up some lightly "loved" Manley 4.040 flat top pistons $60 with a few good Ibeam rods, probably replacing 1
Oliver I beam 5.7 rods, need cleaned up and possible slight resize $70
A box of DMI quick change sprint rear parts for $50 ($30 worth of titanium bolts alone!)
Also picked up a few odds and ends for the truck and sprint car.
Filled up the station wagon for a total of $420!
LT1 tow truck and LT1 sprint car WILL HAPPEN!

Anyone have any input on heat shielding/sound deadening? Looking for a cheaper dynamate set up or a coating insulation. I plan on driving daily and trips with the Mrs so cooking her pretty legs can't happen hahaha
