I did Big reds cluster and it looked like new when I was done and if you think about it you really do spend a lot of time looking at that part of the car so it needs to look as good as it can.
I am also going to mini tub the car when I do the quarters on it, my friend I got the car from also has a tubbed 65 Chevelle that he wants to put back to stock so he wont be needing the badass 9 inch under it now so I may buy it from him and put it in my car. I thank God I can do payments with him, we have been friends for 31 years so he trusts me to not burn him and we have also had a great time over the years building cars ect.

The car now dubbed " Project Spare Parts" is outside now after spending 3 years inside Franks garage being robbed for parts for his 70 Camaro build. I need to spend some serious multi meter time with the wire harness because the same hack who put the terrible t tops in it ( have I mentioned how much I really HATE these things ) also hacked the wire harness too. I should have its powerful "78.6" horsepower 307 running after about 2 more days of work but at least she is back on her feet again. Making progress... totally full of win LOL. Then on to actual body work. Which ummm by the way I know nothing about................

I have a guy who is going to sell me a complete roof off of an 80 that will work for super cheap and it came with 2 new quarter pannels so here is the plan.
Replace roof asy, replace right door skin, replace both front fenders, replace hood with steel 2 inch cowl, replace both quarter pannels and while they are off mini tub the car. Then build a large size - 540 to 572 inch big block chevy enigne and add boost. I thought about doing an LT1 to it and its sill and option but I want like 12 to 1500 horse power for the car eventually so an LT1 wont cut it and live. I would totally grin if I could pull that one off though just to throw in in the face of my boss who is a total LS fanboy lol.

I do have to say that the t top thing wouldnt be so bad if these cars came with that option but just looking at the hack job that was done to it makes me sad especially knowing that there were no t top equipped 72 Camaros.

One other thing to say.
Frank at CPT got my trans for my 06 Avalanche tore down and said " yes it looks like your drive line is too long causing it to break the trans in your truck" this is not something he has seen every day and it confirms my suspicion that my lowered truck was bottoming out the drive line and killing transmissions in my truck so he is going to fix mine for me again ( no fault to Franks build ) and I will have my drive line shortened so it will live and I can FINALLY put the trans drama with my truck behind me. Thank God............ oh and Frank too lol.
