When I bought my '93 I was VERY happy that it already had the LS1 front end on it - but then I saw the LT1 SS hood and I had to have it. This is a current project, so I will update this thread as it makes progress.
Note - Every LS1 front end conversion thread I've seen says you must use LS1 fender brackets - when I took my LS1 front off, it still had LT1 fender brackets. Maybe that will be useful to someone.

Currently (the hood is a Suncoast Creations SS hood):

nice find man, those front clips are really not that expensive these days anymore. I bought one awhile back for a customer I think I picked the whole clip for like 600 bucks with SS hood.. I still trying to grow with the front ends of the LS1 style.. I almost thought about switching my 02's to an LT1 front end :D But I am sure I would get killed for that
Plus the only good thing is I got that huge mouth opening for my front mount :)

Yeah, I think I paid $450 shipped for almost all of the front end stuff (including the hood).
Now I just have to start saving up for paint.

Check the classifieds - you can find some great deals. I was actually talking to another guy and I was going to buy his for $275 shipped and it was an American Sports Car Design hood.
