So i made custom bracket for my alternator and removed to the other side of the car and had to but v-groove pulley with three grooves in front of the harmonic dambener, does that make problems in the future? Will it brake something etc? Need confirmation that it would not throw my balancing etc wrong??

I made my own alt bracket also to make it work.

The front dampener is neutral balanced so as long and the added pulley is also neutral; I don't see a problem. Can you post a few pics for us to look at what you have set up.

its not neutral balanced, its normal pulley from 1971 corvette i think. The harmonic balancer just takes the vibrations of the crank. I have a feeling that it may cause damage to the engine. Its not wobling etc at all when cars running so theres no extra movement. I´ll take a picture tomorrow

Wait so you removed the factory 93-97 lt1 damper and replaced it with a 71 sbc damper?

no, i put second one in front of the original one. Like this one over here but three groove model https://www.google.fi/search?q=lt1+harmonic+balancer&espv=2&biw=1280&bih=899&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=8QYPVZrUF-q_ygOG8oHYAw&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ#tbm=isch&q=lt1+custom+cranc+shaft+pulley&imgdii=_&imgrc=G2tQi2XyCRMmAM%253A%3BqmVjs-HcUwN6CM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fls1tech.com%252Fforu ms%252Fattachments%252Flt1-lt4-modifications%252F103596d1188058569-relocation-parts-alt-reloc.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fls1tech.com%252Ffor ums%252Flt1-lt4-modifications%252F813428-low-mount-alternator-setup-2.html%3B640%3B483

Oh ok. Yea there's no problem with that. A pulley would be neutrally balanced

Ok, thanks. I wasn+t sure about that and friend said that should confirm this. Friend gave me the pulley for free. Its from 1971 corvette i think :D Works like charm and even the centering hub goes right in place :D i had to slightly hone one of the bolt holes to get it match with my dambener.

I think stock alternator is 140amps, make sure you check the belt, may be past what a single V belt can handle.

yep, i put 105amp instead and it turns great :D

Ah cool! Just tossing it out there, but it appears you did know

yep, thought that the 140amp would be too much for v-belt. I´m considering to change like 60-80amp alt if that one starts to slipl.
