Agreed. He is what hooked me years ago when i accidently watched an eposode and laughed so hard through the entire show.

He is a colossal asshole, but that is what makes the show. There are those who complain how harsh he is especially on American cars. If you had carte blanche to drive the shit out of the finest automobiles in the world you'd have the same attitude. From what I remember he was fairly positive on the ZR1 when it debuted.

Other than the build quality of the c6 zr1 he was positive about the car. I think he is the perfect fit for the show... the lack of a CLARKSON is part of what makes the American TG... poop.

I wouldnt be surprised if they reversed their suspension at some point, it seems like clarkson is getting a lot if support from everybody...no matter how big of an asshole he is lol and i have to say, they loved the new c7 although i cant remember if they reviewed the base or the zo6

ya that was nuts, dont think i have seen any of them put an expensive car into a wall before...

i noticed that they never went to the studio (for obvious reasons), so i am guessing the roadtrip was shot a while ago and they are just playing it in place of an actual episode to take up the slot until the season is done. i would say no more top gear after this season unless something drastic happenes :cry:

My wife and I love the show. I love the banter between the ape, hamster and Captain Slow. There isn't an episode that goes by where I'm not laughing out loud several times. Jeremy is an arse of course but he IS the show.

They did do a USA road tour from San Fran to Bonneville where he fell in love with the Corvette, I believe it was the ZR1.

The US Top Gear is rubbish. I tried to like it, just couldn't do it. The yankee and Tanner both irritate me beyond belief. The Aussie version is better but nothing matches up to the original.

The very substantiated rumor is that since Clarkson owns the rights to the format and that May and Hammond both left BBC that a new show is in the works. There have been leaks online of them filming. ITV and Netflix have both expressed interest in running the series in the US and internationally. The name being bounced around is "House of Cars." BBC owns Top Gear and have already picked 2 new hosts. Chris Evans is 1. I am keeping a close eye on this as you can tell.
