Man it all hits at once...had to replace a fuel pump last weekend...now it appears my opti took a dump. Is that what these codes mean?

16 is the Low Res Pulse from the opti. An absolute must for the vehicle to run.

36 is the high res pulse from the opti, not overly necessary but needed none the less.

Looks like it's opti time, the 16 is the nail in the coffin.

The car will start, but it runs incredibly rough...feels like its missing. Will pop here and there...will not idle without throttle though.

How common is it for the opti plug to go bad...the one that runs into the harness?

Try pulling the battery to reset everything and see how it acts. Were you doing any extended cranking?? A 16 and 36 can set from extended cranking without fire I've found.

Something I learned and thought was interesting:

Ive been having fueling problems on this new setup, me and my tuner have been running it down. Got these codes yesterday, and come to find out the Opti also is what pulses the injectors.

Wow the opti controls the gas and fire...scary.

Yerp, that 16 could be dumping fuel to compensate for low pulse too.

Those are the same exact codes that our TA threw when we had to replace our opti :(
