What are you guys running? I was looking at a couple options.....
1. http://www.jegs.com/p/TCI/TCI-Outlaw-Shifters/757631/10002/-1
2. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/bmm-81052?seid=srese1&gclid=CNG8v9Hb6cMCFQePaQodhn8ASw
How do you like them? Pros, Cons?
How are you guys mounting these?
Got pics?
Thanks!

Subscribing.
I had a megashifter in my IROC. It was clunky. Looking to see opinions as well.

I like the outlaw shifter. Friend has one in his TT Vette and it feels good and comfortable. But I think doing the tbrake button was a pain though. I would like something that incorporates the tbrake button.
Also my car was a M6, so my console is a M6 style. I would like to mount a stick while keeping my M6 console.
Anybody got pics?

Mine is just mounted in place of a stock shifter assembly. I modified the stock shift cover to fit around the entire new shifter assembly.
Here is another car I am building. This picture is of mock up. I kept the shifter assembly up with spacers and cut the cover different. The red lever on driverside is for reverse lock out which is same as mine. The red lever on passenger side is a Lokar driver battery cut off lever. It is connected to a push/pull lever outside the back of the car.
The shifter used is a ratchet type and always self centers itself no matter what gear you are in.

Would you mind giving a part number for everything used? Be willing to mod my stuff to make this work?

Part number is 81120
As far as modding your shifter plate, it isn't hard. It isn't a thing where i could mod it for you and you just throw it on. Modification depends on how you mount you shifter. Keep in mind, this isn't a shifter handle, this is an entire new complete shifter.
I can show you pics of my plate if you end up getting one. It will give you a general idea of what to cut/remove and trim to fit as needed in your car.

Modified shifter plate bottom view. Ash tray deleted. You will also need to trim back font location of center console mount to fit body of shifter in place.

Now keep in mind, the new shifter is made for non PRND lock out switch. The stock shifter has a cable on it that goes to the steering column that if the car is in gear, your key can't be removed or turned on. This cable will have to be removed. This is no different than if you have a manual car. Only difference is the manual car has to have clutch pushed in to start. The kit comes with two micro switches. One for your reverse lights to operate, the other to be used as a neutral safety switch. Those will have to be wired in for the cars reverse lights to work and the car to start in park or neutral. When you get the shifter, let me knkw and i will give you what has to be wired. The shifter itself has to be shimmed with some spacers to bring it to the height you want. I cant give you an exact size as i had previously converted my car to a stick. I have a plate welded in place in my tunnel. It is in your best intrest to dissconnect the battery while doing this work as you will be working around air bag wiring as well as the air bag module itself located under the center console. Your best bet is to remove the bottom shift plate from the shift plate cover. Then make your cuts. Leave it long, you can always cut more...you cant put it back. Place the shifter losely inside where it is going to mount, then trim plate until it is at the right dimensions for your location. Once that is done, you can mark your holes for mounting the shifter. Then drill it and bolt/shim it so it fits to your liking.

Can you make it work with a manual upper center console? Or do I need to get an auto upper console

It will fit a manual shift plate. Ash tray is in back and it will have to go as well. Only issue i see is not being able to see what gear you are in with boot on. I have been waiting to hear back from Lokar about their digital display they have and its compatability with my rmvb th350. I would like a visual on my dash showing the gear i am in at the track. Since i have to manually shift my car, its a big deal to me to not second guess it while i am running single digits.

That was my main question. I have seen guys who make it work with a M6 console. I have a TH400 with T/brake so I have a good feeling on which gear is which.
