Ya, that movie was filmed to hit you in the heart. 95albinobird is right about the ending. It felt like I was at a funeral when it ended. Nobody said a word. He's also right about giving or helping any non-profit that supports veterans. I'm blessed to has a job in philanthropy and I never turn down the USO, V.A., American Legion, or any organization related to the military. On a positive note, they made Texas and the men from Texas look good and if you don't know. I'm proudly from Houston Texas! Lol

I have not seen the movie yet, but I will. As to the libtards.... They have an absolute hatred for a free society, I am in awe and sometime in disbelief with what some of them say. Their viewpoints always astound me... "Did they really say that? Do they really believe that? .... In all honesty, 90% do not understand what they would lose if they got the "utopia" they so dream of..... Freedom, requires personal responsibility of actions/decisions.... That does NOT apply to their view,,,, it's everybody else's fault...

there is quite a few x military guy's locked up that although incarcerated are still patriots just throw him in gen pop and let nature take it's coarse.LOL

That is a very good possibility. However if the prison finds thats he is in danger because of the nature of his crimes... he may cost tax payers more for special accomodations. Depends on the prison. In many states i have seen deathrow inmates in the 30+ years before they actually get the needle.

Idiot. Did you read the book? maybe you should try.
Do your research, clown. no where in the book does he talk about looters or car jackers lol. Those are claims by left wing anti American "reporters" claiming kyle told them that in "private interviews".
The only thing debatable is Ventura whos name was never printed and has proven to be immoral and a scum bag. In the book he breifly mentioned punching somone not by name, people knew of the story already so they knew it was Ventura.

Those "stories" or "claims" printed are backed by other seals and military he served with, they all must tell stories hu?
Watch his interviews on the you tube, kyle was as modest as they come.

No, you're absolutely right. Kyle's book is 100% historically accurate and no one ever comes home and embellishes even a bit in order to sell a book or seem more important.
You're right.
I'm over it. Enjoy the Kool-aid. No one ever said he wasn't a hero or prolific story. Hell, I said he had EARNED the right to embellish. Same goes for Marcus Luttrell and Hatchcock. I'd call it a "spoil of war."

Kyle wrote the book purely because other people were jumping on the band wagon to write it about him.
I have a hard time taking anything you claim to know when you make up things in your head about printed material that you supposedly read. Then fail to have a shred of integrity about it.
You went from published material that you are completely wrong about to an opinion. Which are like assholes.

Have you read both American Sniper books? Did he lie about wmd's? Yes. Did he lie about Ventura? Yes.
Did he lie to D Magazine about the carjacking? Yes.
None of that is opinion. All of thise are fantastic accounts. 2 are from his own book. One is a firsthand interview.
So, where is it hard to take seriously?
Where is my integrity in question?
Did I start off by calling you an idiot and professing to know you?

You can find dozens of articles hating kyle.
Im still talking about the book.
Kyle stated there were barrels of chemicals intended to make WMDs. Barrels of chemicals dont qualify as WMDs. He WAS trying to back his president on the idea of being WMDs or at-least the capability.
He was wrong on the FACT that barrels of haz mat are not WMDs.(which he was inferring) Thats what he called or thought of WMDs. Precursors are not WMD.
The link below is him giving his opinion. #4 lol.
http://henrymakow.com/2015/02/American-Liar.html
Did kyle punch ventura? Dont know for sure. He was sued for profiting off of him. That only suggests that he did use ventura's ID to profit. It has no factual evidence of if it happened.
The fact still remains that you claimed all these "lies" he told in his book... er um 2 that you have mentioned are, disprovable but you think they are fact?
You are simply backpedaling how stupid you sounded trying to shit talk a dead war hero. Thats your integrity.
You simply cant Prove if he punched ventura. The other is kyle using the term or definition of WMDs and being taken out of context.
Prove your two points from the book.

Defamation may be a big word but I think google can help you out.
The point stands, once again that the story was great without the lies in his book. That's not shit talking a hero, that's stating a fact. I've never backpedaled on anything and I'm done with this debate. The point here is that kyle exaggerated his exploits and his wife picked up the tab on one of them.

Couple things about this article I don't agree with.
I served in Iraq from 2004 to 2005. During that time, we started to realize there were no weapons of mass destruction
I also thought I read some claim of someone stating the barrels had "made in USA" stamped on them.
http://www.ricekiller.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27903
Don't see anything there regarding it being made in USA.
the 9/11 commission report determined that Iraq was not involved in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
That was never a question. Bush went into Iraq because Saddam had been thumbing his nose at the UN for years when they were demanding inspections take place. Because the UN are full of helpless tits Bush thought he'd take the initiative. I don't doubt for a second it was to finish up what Bush Sr. had started. I don't ever recall the reason to invade Iraq being Saddam was suspect of 9/11. If that is an actual rumor it was most likely started by Democrats and Liberals.

He told no lies in his book, You have yet to prove any of these points.
The only FACT you have made is how retarded you are taking proven urban legends of kyle as fact lol. The article about him shooting two carjackers lol published two months after his death, then the writer admitted to never interviewing Kyle.
He never claimed any of what you think you read in his book except punching Ventura which he probably did. Wich is on video as well.
If kyle had to give over ten years of his life, his youth 4 tours ect ect for the right to "tell stories" what have you done to earn the right to sit behind a screen like a bitch? You are regurgitating urban myths as facts dumb ass. STFU lol. None of your points are in the book except punching scruff face. lol.

you can say whatever you want to say but.
FACT he had more confirmed kill's than any sniper in U.S history.
FACT he volunteered for 4 tours (how many of us can say that?).
FACT he was killed trying to help a fellow veteran. WTF
FACT he joined the navy and became a navy seal when he was 30 years old (that's a big deal in my book).:drillsergeant:
FACT his a wife and 2 kids deserve better than people talking shit about him!!!:argue:
let's not turn this into a petty argument about his accomplishment's i think it dishonor's his memory.:cloud:
THAT IS NOT COOL!!!!

I agree.
My point dealt with leaving out the fantastic claims from his book so that it avoided this type of argument. I'm glad it did, as I said.
It quickly devolved into a pissing contest full of personal attacks without reason.
For any offense, at least for my part, I apologize to the board.
I said it previously, guys like luttrell and kyle have earned the right to tell stories. I'm glad this one was told.
Enjoy the movie if you get the chance. Its far better than the overly liberal bs Hollywood is putting out these days.
