Have you clicked it?
It's basically so that you can say thanks to someone for a useful post without having to type out, THANKS! Plus, everyone can then see how many times you have been useful with your replies as it keeps a talley of all of your thanks.
Just a little something to add to the atmosphere here. More positive energy promotes positive posting :)

Yeah, I just need to configure a few things and it will be good. Soul is going to make a new image for that gaudy button.

Can we have a no thanks system? :tt2:
Yeah, actually. We can do whatever we want with it. "Thanks" is the default.

I'd click the your welcome button but the admins have not implemented my suggestion. :monkey:
I guess I failed? Click the fail button!

I would, but the "Thanks" button is really meant for saying thanks for helping, or thanks for the useful info. It tally's up your thanks, so it would be kind of weird to see how many "your welcomes" you received.
Basically, you click the thumbs up to draw the attention of others to a useful post. /all.

I'm just kidding in this thread because I don't feel the need for a "Thank You" System. If i'm appreciative of someones input in a thread, I'll let them know. A well thought out Thank You is much more valuable to me than a hundred people clicking thanks.

Your missing the point. It's there to draw attention to a well thought out post, or to simply agree with someone while you are browsing. Click, done.

Remember, it's all about convenience for the members. We'll do whatever we have to do to make sure our members want to come back, and if adding this little system makes the difference for them, then mission accomplished. :)

I think people can still add personal thank you's but this system makes people aware of who has made meaningful posts that may have helped someone else out. Good job admins!:peace2:
I think this is brilliant.
