Additional track prep for the 2015 Shootout

It was brought to our attention that there is some concern about track prep at Beech Bend. In addition to the standard track prep package that goes along with the private rental, Kyle Dawson dawdaw has pledged $250 to be used towards ADDITIONAL track prep! A very generous donation on his part and we all thank him for it greatly! In addition to his pledge, I have decided to personally match his donation, and my father (David Smith) has pledged to match both of our donations. That leaves us a total of $1k, allocated specifically for ADDITIONAL track prep. So please, do not throw in the towel on coming because of anything that has happened in the past with traction issues (for whatever reason they happened, it doesn't matter now). We have cars built and being built that are capable of breaking multiple records. Give us a chance to make this the best LTX Shootout to date! Thank you!

Hey guys me and chris talked about this. I saw that the prep issue was brought up on another site and although I have zero anything to do with the running of this event, im just a racer, I figured it wouldn't hurt to throw a few bucks to make sure that there are NO reasons anyone can't show because of anything that is in the hands of the guys running the event. .

I don't for see my car having traction issue's, I more or less donated for the big hp cars. .. I love seeing guys that have spent tons of time , money and effort into the lt1 platform (outlaw cars in particular). Guys like stefan , Tony Shepard, taner , Carlos , big cat, turbo sonoma, Mike Harvey and the list goes on. .. and to boot everyone from modified to street stock will also benefit from additional prep.

I would really just like to see everyone show up that has the time and money to do so and forget what small problems there has been in the past. .

The event is back in a sweet area to bring a family and have a good time, drunk parking lot partying is back, money is there to hook little radial tire cars, and there are a good group of guys running it along with Chris who has really great intentions for the event .

Besides personal reasons like money and work there's no reason you guys shouldn't be taking time off now and getting your turd lt1s ready this winter for a good year and the coveted golden opti :)

Great job guys ! this year is looking very promising already.
