I'm having problems with my antenna on my 96 bird. I cannot get it to go down I hear the motor but it doesn't do anything. If you any of you guy have any advice or info that would be awesome and much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!! (ws6bird)
I have checked all the fuses.

If im not mistaken there are nylon gears that connect the motor to the antena assembly to.pull it down or push it up. Its possible that they have stripped or come.mis aligned.

Should be easy access once u pull plastic from inside. Please let me know if i was close... doing it from memory...i could be off... but im pretty sure im not.

Popo8 you were right I checked it and it was the gears they weren't connecting. They are fixed now and the antenna is going up and down. Thanks for all the help from everyone.

Glad it worked out to be a quick, and cheap fix!
