Haha okay any other opinions? Thought I'd a carbureted 383 sounds good. Always had FI'ed.

Does he have supporting documentation for the 383? Also, there's nothing wrong with a carb and if you feel it time to make a change, do it.

That rust looks like bubble cancer to me, not something that is going to sand out.

Unless you are cashing out some, I don't think this deal is anywhere near in your favor. Your ride is 20 years old, just imagine the additional use/wear/tear on a 36 year old vehicle...

Just trying to figure this deal out. Your ad says "Hate to get rid of and said I wouldn't, but i need the money towards something else." Are you just tired of your 4th gen? A '78 carbed 383 definitely isn't moving you into a more reliable vehicle.

Id have to agree with the majority here.......ive had my fair share of 2nd gens and while they are fun you will not get the same excitement out of it. Just my 2 cents.

WOW... 1250 for a vert z28?!?!?!?

Yep....guy at work didn't want it. Needed rear end fixed and had a bad misfire. Probably head gaskets. If I knew I could've used my government travel card I would've shipped it, but instead I sold it for same price.
