You think it would be easy to find a paint shop to paint a car. But not in lower Delaware. Most paint shops won't touch a car if the body has been done, or if it's not an insurance job. I had a few shops give me a out to lunch number because they don't want to paint a whole car. The reason they gave me was because insurance companies hold their feet to the fire to get jobs done. So I'm looking for a paint shop that would paint a whole car. I can do all the body work with an ex-painter and myself but I don't have a place to paint the car. So can anyone help me out here? Is there a paint shop near Delaware or someone who could paint a car.

it used to be the Maaco in Newark would do a great job shooting if you did all the body work. I took my Beretta GT there and it came out great back in the day. I know a few hot rodders around here use them for quick spray jobs. We do our own now, but since we don't have heat in our makeshift booth we are pretty SOL until spring. Winner Dover does good work too. My friend Jim W has don a lot od "custom" cars out of the shop there. I have a few I would not go to, but I wont post them publically.

We used Maaco in Dover for a friends 3rd gen. We did all the prep and pulled all lights and seals. They actually did a really nice job.

Anyways... DENNYs CORVETTE RESTORATIONS in Pottstown PA. AWESOME WORK... People ship their stuff from all over the US to have them work on it. They fixed my Escalade after collision damage last year to the right rear quarter and doors and step ...etc....
