Thanks you for your support everyone. Been a tough year this year for our family. We spent the tail end of last year moving them down from Springfield. My grandma had been in and out of the hospital for years. Finally got them settled in and then lost her in april. Then my grandfather was diagnosed with Stomach cancer about a month later. We figured he would just let it go but he decided not to. In the meantime, my aunt (my grandma and grandpas daughter) passed away from liver failure. He went through chemo and radiation and beat it, however it caused some stomach ulcers that the doctors were unable to control. He was regularly receiving 2-3 units of blood a week. He finally told my dad last night that he was done fighting. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye but since the passing of my grandmother, we had spent a lot of time with him recently. He was a great man. Very well mannered and jovial. I will miss him dearly. Thanks for caring man. I dealt with his loss immediately instead of trying to put it off like I did with my grandmothers, so I think it will be easier to move on instead of last time. My dad has been through so much with trying to attend to their needs over the last 5 years and it's really taken a toll on him. While I know he is still mourning and will be for some time, i know there has to be a sense of weight lifted from his shoulders.

Thanks guys. We have the best community around, without a doubt. Today was a much better day and our family appreciates all of the kind words and prayers. Now we are preparing for the gypsies, tramps, and thieves that will be showing their faces after decades of hiding out, awaiting their inheritance. ...
