Anybody know anything about swapping to lights like these?

Those look like angel eyes which come in various, less expensive brands. For a better result, you can also search around for 'Hella' (generally 90mm), 'PIAA' (smaller) or even 'FF75' (more rectangular) to find info on different installs. Be mindful of the type of housing and which bulb it uses.

I know I saw a DIY for this at some point years ago.... I just did some digging with no luck

heres another option you might want to consider though.

If you are only in it for looks you can go to autozone and get a pair and bolt them in.

If you want improved lighting you can use a Hella 60mm projector or get some piaa headlamps. The lights in the picture are a pencil beam and will provide far less light output than the already poor lighting your car puts out. For the best bang for your buck you can use some headlamps from the link below and swap in silverstar bulbs. Unless you go to a projector do not use HIDS and Do not use any blue lighting. You can also put 9006 bulbs in your stock housing just need to silcon them in instead of twisting them in.

Do you want looks or performance. Being one that has hit a deer in a lt1 car performance over looks for me
