Mine is a 92. Had a 87 and a 85 also. They are addicting little cars lol. I'd put some pictures up, but can't with my phone. I'll see if I can't get to a computer later today and post them.

Thanks!!! But I'll get them this evening. I work nights and only have three hours sleep in me from yesterday. So I'm hitting the hay lol.

Burgundrot is the color. And thanks! Sadly I'll probably have to sell my convertible soon due to moving and needing a 4x4.

Are they pretty reliable as a dd? Do they have a "bmw" tax on every part required?

Their actually great as daily drivers. All of mine where dailies. Just like most cars, just got to do routine maintenance. And parts are kind of hit and miss, most of them aren't expensive, but stuff you think would be cheap isn't, and stuff you think would be an arm and leg isn't lol.

I hear that.... have a friend looking for a DD... and although he does not have alot of loot... he needs... NEEDS to have the "baller" brand names... just wondering if this is a good way to point him.
On another note... I really like the slightly older 7 series... but they all seem to be headaches... vacuum issues... SES lights that no one can figure out... no start issues with 1500 dollar starters...

The e30 probably will be up his alley. You can find them for a decent price. But then there are some that are high cause the owner sees BMW and puts a high price tag on it. And I also hear that the older 7 series are money pits.

Not really, a Honda minivan could probably outrun it lol. It did have great handling though! It had the economy 2.7 inline six in it.

Guess it wasn't to bad for 127hp and over 200000 miles. Did have a set of headers the gearing was 2.93lsd. I'm probably just more use to my faster cars hitting 90-100 though that little stretch.

e28s are nice to for a little bigger car. My dad had a 85 528e. Only BMW he has ever owned, and I bought a 85 535i but was a parts car basically. Although my cousin in FL just got an e28 but don't remember the year, do know it's a 535i.
