SO I decided to set the dvr for the pilot of GOTHAM.

Its like the story of batman... but starting at the point where the WAYNE parents were killed and Bruce was a kid.

Not Bad... and im not normally into shows like this.

I liked it. The acting was a little bland, but it is somewhat more true to the characters than the Nolan movies. I hope it survives and picks up some steam. I like this genre so I am excited

I thought it was a great intro. I also really liked meeting all of the characters that we now know... penguin.. joker... cat woman.... poison ivy. .. etc.

yeah i thought it was pretty good as well. i'll be curious what direction it goes, if its going to be more about Gordan, or if it will eventually focus more on Bruce.

We have it on the DVR but have not started it yet.

Speaking of the Joker, if anyone has seen Steven Tylers high school pic he looks like the Joker!!!

Haven't watched it yet but I have it on my media PC set to watch. I'm actually really tempted to let this go an entire season before I start watching. I'm tired of getting burned by FOX and other stations who only air a show for 1 season and then kill it with no ending. They just did it to Gang Related which I thought was going to be an awesome show. :(

The software I use for my Media PC keeps tabs on the status of all the shows I watch, so periodically I check in and it'll say if the show is Continuing (onto a next season) or Ended (cancelled) and then I go through and remove the ended shows from the software.

Caught episode 2 on demand last night. I'm loving this show! Been on some message boards looking for Easter eggs and spoilers and if 1/50th of the rumors are true, this show is going to kick ass!
