Do I need to remove the timing cover or can I change the front seal without removing it. Anyone have a write up on this.

It can be done on car. I'm sure a write up is floating around out there somewhere.

Just pop the ole one out and the new one in, I made a tool to make the install easier..

It should just pop out of the cover, you shouldn't have to take the cover off. A seal puller tool will make it way easier for removal. For install, I recommend taking the new seal over to the hardware store and matching up a piece of short pvc pipe that is the same diameter. Then just cut that pipe down to a reasonable length and you will have a seal driving tool. Its a lot easier than making laps around the seal trying to tap it in.

This looks like a fairly detailed how to.

Thanks for the help guys. Along with my front seal leaking, the front of the intake is to, so looks like I'm going to just put seals in every thing in the front of the motor. Just to be safe.
