I was speaking with a cpl of people with "Single Digit" LTX vehicles to get an update on their cars and the Shootout.

1 has all of his parts and is putting the engine back together and wants to make a pass at a local track before making the trip.

The other is looking for some brake fittings to line out everything and he can make the Shootout.

I'll keep their names out unless they post up or want it known (the names are not the point of my post) but there is a pretty good chance that they will both make the trip.

This will be a good thread to see who is THRASHING to get their car together and what they need before the Shootout. Judging by what I have seen from this board and my time here some of us might be able to help them out. Kinda like a "parts needed" section but in order to help each other out baybe take that into consideration and have a better price for them if that means that they can amke the shootout.

One mans trash is another mans treasure, LOL.

Example - I have lots of EGR block off plates, stock TB's MAP sensors, etc from intake cores over the years as well as stock LT1 rocker studs and even some Hot Cam springs, etc that I would just GIVE to someone if it would help them.

Post up what you need and maybe this is your lucky day and someone will dig thru their shop and tell you to "cover shipping and its yours", "I forgot i had this and you can have it for CHEEP" or possibly "I have it posted in for sale section for "x but you can have it for less" type of thing.

We have got 3 1/2 weeks to get these cars together . . . . LETS GET BUSY!!!

I think I know who needs the brake fittings. Put him in touch with me. I either have or should know where he can get the stuff he needs.

If anyone has a time machine I could borrow I would appreciate it. I can't seem to stay in my own state long enough to get anything accomplished.

Got everything I need to finish minus a few random local parts house things. Like Big Cat time is my only problem! If anyone needs anything let me know I'll do the best I can.

Cool. I will be leaving next Friday. Any racing on Sunday?

Are you asking about Sunday Oct 5 (day after the shootout).

I am not sure about what the tracks schedule is or what others are doing on Sunday but I will be leaving "early" Sunday (7-10 AM depending on how the Sat night parking lot party goes, LOL) and heading back to Texas.

There might be others able to stay that day and race that Sunday assuming the track has "test and tune" or" brackets" that day open tp the public (not resreved).

I have a set of LE1 heads with Crane 10308-1 dbl springs on them that I will take $1000 "shipped in the US" for if that helps someone make the shootout.

No cores needed.

I am about to list them in the for sale section for $1150 plus shipping.
