I'm not sure what the powerband is on a GM847, but if you plan on reving high (6400+?) I'd prob go with a NSA rocker.

The 847 is a high revving cam.. think 6800rpms to be in a good powerband... many people suggest NSA rockers with higher rpms but I run SA rockers with the cc306 and have taken it to 6400~ a few times without problems... one thing i would suggest is to get ARP rockers studs...


I made the mistake of not installing new studs when I had the valvetrain apart and I ended up breaking a rocker stud... luckily i had chromemoly pushrods and they didnt bend but I did end up putting a nice big dent in my valve cover
