Bummed Out

I went home yesterday and when I opened up the garage door, I noticed my car was off the ramps and I thought what the hell? Then I saw the front bumper cover was all busted up, the rear bumper was smashed up against the fridge!! It turns out my dumb @ss sister some how put her van in drive and thought it was in reverse and smashed into my car, I had just finished repairing a small crack last week and was getting ready to paint it this weekend!! I'm so bummed out now there is no way to make it to the shootout, cant race without a front bumper and it just looks like shit in the rear. I'm so frickin pissed!!!!! I give up...

If that was my sister I would be taking a couple hundred pound bags of cement and a nice boat ride to lake superior about where it's 5000 feet deep .. you don't have a junk yard close to ya where you can grab a front bumper?

Hate to hear this, was she gonna tell you or just let you find it? I'm sure there's enough help here we can get you the parts you need. Worst case we can put the bumper covers on in STL and everyone can rattle can it Friday night! Sand and paint it when you get home for 2015!!

Parking lot paint job was MUCH easier than the year prior, trying to replace original 1970 rear leaf springs.

The first year my car was half red & half black. Plus your tail lights will tell anyone giggling, the true story!

Thanks to all, No at first when I asked her "What happened to my Car! she said , I dont know what you're talking about, her van is white, there was white paint on the front of my car and her front end was damaged too, finally she admitted to it..Tony Shepard is helping me out on the parts, I still need to jack it back up and check the underside, I just installed a new drive shaft and when the car fell the floor jack was wedged under and it looked like on the shaft, Hope it didnt damage that, We'll see this weekend, I just went to the bar and had a few beers after I saw this...Thanks again everyone...

Insurance in suppose to be coming out today, The inter cooler also got damaged, not bad, but when its new it hurts, I still need to get under the car to see if the floor jack damaged the drive shaft..Still working on it..

Sorry to hear it, But what does not kill ya makes ya stronger! and drunker.... Crap happens, its how you deal with it, that defines character... That's what I always hear every time some unforeseen or preventable load of crap lands on me... thought I would pass it on.

Update, got the car all back together, (Thanks to Tony) but now while idling in the garage she just shut off. I did trouble shooting of everything and it turned out with the driver box connected (For the 96lb low impedance) the car will not start, when disconnected, the car starts. I sent the versafueler back to acceleronics and Jeff did every test he could think of but the car still would not start. I sent the box back again and he tested it (sends a youtube video of him testing it) by heating, shaking ect and it still showed good but still no start so I checked every wire coming from the PCM for continuity and all checked out. I finally gave up and ordered some 96lb high impedance injectors and whala!, starts and runs!, has a little surge but I will tune that. Next, having some custom headers made for increased boost and plug accessibility.

NOW! I have no voltage going to the tps!! Dang! I tried a new sensor and nothing, so that means a short in the wiring somewhere, It never ends...

Run a new line from the PCM, but check that you have voltage at MAF and 02s etc, they all feed off the one line AFAIK.

I found a couple of wires that were melted on the intank pumpls, I think its drawing too many amps and popping the fuse, Im waiting on a hot wire kit that should solve the problem, I built a new harness from the pumps to the harness that goes to the bulkhead, and now only at the bulkhead is the wires getting real hot.
