I didnt want to HiJack another thread but i am looking for a powerprobe myself. I have to do a ton of custom wiring on the trans am since the drivetrain is out of a 85 vette and still has that ECM, I am swapping to a 4th gen dash and cluster, and the body wiring harness was pretty beat up. I am torn between the Hook or the PP3 with the master kit. Thoughts?

i was looking them up the other night after i used one at work, the PP3 master kit it around $180 at Sears. after i spent 4 days chasing a short in a harness the PP3 helped me find it in less then 15min. GREAT tool!

The hook will do quite a bit more than the pp3 I believe. If you can afford that I'd say go for it.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna do some more research on the hook. It does seem to do more, but I could really use all the accessories too
