Good find. I will have a bunch of leftover Camaro parts after I get my convertible together. Let me know if you need anything

Thanks. I have quiet a few parts after converting my race car from efi to carb and putting it on a diet.
I really just need basic maintenance parts (oil change/filter, fuel filter, brakes).
The guy stopped by my shop after hearing my car running and asked if I wanted another one. He seemed to like the amount of work done to mine and said he'd rather see the car get fixed by someone knowledgeable rather than junking it or selling it to someone who was going to not fix it up. I ran up to his house since he lived local and checked out the car... The rest is obvious.

Got all the nasty mold out of the car. Simple green and tire shine has the inside of the car looking brand new! Detailed the engine bay a bit and switched out the air filter.
Looks like both window motors or switches are bad. I pumped out the old gas and tossed in some premium and it runs a lot better. Currently cleaning the fuel system and motor with seafoam. Car has a low rpm miss and lacks power in drive but it will sit there and idle for hours. It appears the check valve is stuck open because it has a hard start unless I prime the rail a few times.
I had the car on the lift today and I was pretty surprised with how it looked considering how long it had sat. Defiantly needs brake lines, resurface the rotors and do a pad job. I also lopped of the clogged cat $$$.
Looks like for about $500 I will have an awesome running and presentable Z28... I'm getting new tires (225/55/16) since they are half the price of the 245/50/16; same height but .6" narrower and only $52 a pop! $700 gives me a good cruiser and puts me on track to crack 11s for $1,500 total investment purchasing the parts through my distributors. BUT I found a rollback that I really want to buy but I'd have to sell the car when it's done to build an impound lot :(

I complelely agree. I get really good deals on tires (I am the cheapest seller in northern New Jersey). A 225/55 costs me $52-56 a tire for a semi-performance tire (falken/ohtsu, capitol, etc). In a 245/50 my cheapest tire is $64 but they are stored in warehouses more than 100 miles away and it ends up costing me $85-95+ per tire.
So it's kind of a no brainier for me to invest as little as possible into this vehicle in order to make as much profit as I can.
I'd hate to admit it but I think my drag car is going up for sale soon too. I plan on downsizing to just my tahoe z71, 5 ton military truck and my shop plow truck.

That does not sound like fun at all. :(
