Threw my brand new battery in, connected it to the starter and alternator. The 3rd positive wire I bolted my amplifier power wire together and taped it up. The grounds I see are tight. I'm missing the red oval ground box by the battery on left shock tower so I just drilled and tapped 2 holes for all those grounds.
Now the problem, I turn the key and get no dash lights at all, no fuel pump prime, no power at fuse block... What did I miss?

That red oval box is positive hook ups. If you attached those to the shock tower, thats a direct short. Remove them and isolate and do it right. Then replace the fuses you blew

And then hope you didn't fry some fusible links or wires anywhere else.

I'll check fuses next time I work on the car. I realized that those weren't grounds and connected them correctly and actually got the car to start for the first time. I will be buying the red box once I find it on the Internet, for now I have a cheap fix. Heads up there's a b word in the video
