View Full Version : Nothing like tearing your car apart
Make it short been doing more weight reduction for race season.New steering wheel, ABS delete,Then got brave and tore into the passenger side air bag that was a job in it self.Well with the miles of wires. Its there somewhere in the back of your mind that i got to watch what the heck im doing or this thing will never start and ill never know where to start looking. Well it just started and im all kinds of happy about that. Got alot work out of the way for the future if we every get a cage for the car. Really shocked none of my brake lines leaked that i flared also. Gee if only race season will be this GOOD:claps:

Nice! :claps:
Do you have any pictures of what the interior of your car looked like after all the weight reductions? Just kinda curious to see what it looked like.

We def. want to put a cage in, but we're in one of those scenarios that you don't want to put something in it if its not fast enough for it, I would feel like a poser.

I feel your pain on the de-wiring and getting rid of un-needed stuff... that's where I'm at right now.
What's really awesome is when you are just fast enough to need a cage... install a cage... and it slows you down :D

If you've got the $$ and the time, I'd get that cage in there right now.
Look at it this way, you could be called a poser, yes - but when the time comes that you feel the need to stick a huge shot on there or go with big boost, you'll be glad you chose the cage all those months ago. (or weeks depending on how finicky you are)
Lookin' good guys!
