Well, I got a job transfer, same company but I moved to the Chrysler building and am in the shop now. So that also came a decent pay raise. And I found this for pretty cheap, private owner who only wanted pay off for it.

2008 Silverado 1500 5.3 4L60 lifted 2" on 20" GM wheels, all Kenwood audio with a 12" sub under the back seat. Spray in bed liner, weather tech all weathers, 75,000 miles

Any progress on your car?yea. I haven't really gotten to update my thread, its kind of a hassle since I'm cheap and won't buy tapatalk, so I have to pull it up on my phones browser. I have most of it on my Facebook though. Got the block back, and am in the assembly process.

Whats up.with the build tho?I was talking to my instructor about putting new bearings and rings in it, he convinced me to take it to a machine shop and bore it .030 over since I put all the money in the top end and nothing in the bottom end, so I went a head and did that, I got the crank in, and tonight pistons are going in

Wow... its been down for a while...yea I know. Its a battle between money, waking up at 6 to be at school by 7, leave school at 12:30 to be at work by 1, work till 6 then homework....then if i still have energy I work on it. Just got these in tonight

Update in the truck...I knew buying it that the front speakers cut in and out randomly. I thought it was a lose wire....but evidently the amp is on its way out and I need to go to a 5 channel instead of the 3 that is in it now
