Well it was dumb...but they made me laugh. For now, I will say I liked it, and I will give it a few more episodes.

It actually made me think about that show that only made it one season..CAR FELLAS...the Italiano "mafia" used car guys.

Car on lift with pinion gear out behind the guy and he says "we gotta pull the rear end apart and see what wrong" when they already went thru rear end.

Guy tried to tighten the rockers and was bottomed out on stud and he tried to keep tightening. Hopefully they were playing stupid for the camera and making it seem like they could not figure out the problem. I hope they are smarter than that. Pushrods were too short and he said "we gotta pull the entire engine back apart and get the right length pushrods" when they just had to pull rockers and install correct pushrods.

Like I said, Hopefully they are just playing stupid for the camera.

I think they are just trying to play the fat & stupid card. The latest episode with the stupid ass glue comments...they didn't use any glue, its called rust. I'm sorry to say I think they had potential but got the wrong producers who think that what their portraying is good. I also don't get where there prices are coming from...Gas Money is cheaper than these guys.

In the intro, he says "There's tricks to making these old muscle cars fast and I know them all."

If the trick is to charge 20-30K and dump a large crate motor and Tremec trans in them then he certainly knows it because that's all they do.

Idk who that is... but there was another car show with a pro wrestler as a partner in the business.... lords of the car hoards... it does not make it fake cause a person is popular from another career.

Obviously, they don't do the paint on the restorations and I don't see a lot if any machining tools in the shop they show. It just looks like a garage that does some sponsored product installs and acts out skits to me.

its much better with the volume off, you get to look at cool cars but you don't have to hear about a guy who dreams about his car running 13s and who also thinks he got a bargain at $22k or whatever plus his old motor to get there. So I pulled this from my DVR because I thought it was gonna interrupt another show I was gonna start watching, however it was only a conflict for the first 2 episodes since it was a 2 day premiere.

Of course now that I did that, they built a Fast and the Furious TORETTO Charger with the blower... DAMN IT!

It was nice but they built it just to look like it, Def not perform like it lol. It was for a chick that was a stunt driver. So they built it for like drifting around corners and stuff.

I half assed watched it last night on the DVR. Think it's gonna go by by. Everything is getting too scripted anymore. We have like 96 shows of different stuff to watch on the DVR. Love the DVR but still don't have the time to watch stuff. Can't even find time to work on the car. [emoji17]
