SWEET my son graduated! so we went to the range to celebrate among other things. it was his first time,17 and he never shot a handgun. he did well.we went through over 400 rounds :2guns:that was the second day in a row for me.the day i went alone i did 400 myself.i started to get a blister on my trigger finger lol no B/S.he shot my 40 cal{g23},g19,bersa 380 and my m&p 9mm.the boy was all about the 9's.the 40 was a little much for him and the 380 is a bersa so it's small so it actually has some kick and he didn't like how it kicked.i just got a s&w m&p 9mm 3 days ago he popped it's cherry. i got the 40 cal 4 days ago and only had 50 rounds through it it's even a little much for me.wow do i sound like a pussy for that?

OK I'll call you a wussy LOL I just have a fetish for big bore handguns, My brother in law and I went out this morning, 50 rds of 45acp 50 rds of 44mag 50 rds of 357mag and 30rds of 9mm. was trying a batch of lead bullets I bought to try, had always loaded jacketed prior. had a blast would of shot another 100 of each if I'd of had them loaded. time to hit the reloading bench now. congrats to your son on his graduation, and a welcome to him in the sport of shooting. it's addicting!

THANKS I'LL PASS ON THE CONGRAT'S he earned it.it was a long hard road getting him there no drug problems just a lack of motivation and structure.i'm trying to get him to go get a bachelor's degree in criminal justice than the police academy!
he said he don't want to have to bust his friends,i say if they don't get caught breaking the law than you won't have to.......ya know what i mean.
i'm going to see if i can get him a ride along when he turns 18 in august so he can see what it's about.i think he would make a great law enforcement officer.
however he scored high on the test for the military, high enough for the air force he but is really thinking about going into the marines.i have nothing against marines my dad was 1 but he is my only kid and i am scared of losing him in the mideast so i'm pushing air force if he go's military, but he call's it the chair force lol.
now i have to work on finding him a car.the boy never let on what he was into other than lambo's and ferrari's(kid's).that little bastard was loving seeing me squirm LOL.
till i told him he can have his mom's PT LOSER,so ya know he has to be a rebel he said no firebird's for him:confused:,i was thinking where did i go wrong?????? i was scared i thought he was a ford guy for a minute.then he told me he likes the camaro's and not the new 1's.he's into the 4th gen's...:yay:.it took me year's to get that satisfaction.so i found a 97 mystic teal v6 5speed hard top camaro in need of a motor for 700 it's super clean with a 131k on it. i think he will be pleasantly surprised with it if i can get it. we can fix what's there for now and as he advance's we can swap in a LTX or dare i say it a LS :face_shocked: and still have the cheaper v6 insurance.

lol you ladies should squeeze off a few round out of a 460 s&w or a 500 s&w. my 44mag doesn't have any kick compared to the big boy rounds.

It belongs to a coworker. Biggest thing I have is a 44mag. I want to get a 454 casull or a 460 s&w. Both are badass rounds but they are very expensive to shoot if you don't reload ammo. mfg wise there are several people who make handguns in those calibers as well as a few level guns. on the scale of insanity the 500 is off the chart. I have shot stuff up to the 50 bmg and the 500 is the only one I have physically felt the heat from the muzzle blast. :)

Shoot the .40 long enough and you'll almost forget the a 9mm has kick. I have a G22 in .40 that I took my CCDW class with but am looking at going to a SR9 as my carry weapon. I am picking up a Mosin Nagant on Monday as a fun rifle. I cant find 22LR so the next cheapest is 7.62...lol.

you may want the sr9c i'm thinking about going with the M&P 9c for a summer piece.i feel more comfortable carrying my g19+g23 with jeans and a jacket.and i thinking about mosin also ya can't beat it for 139 to 239 bucks and you can hunt with it plus there is a polymer stock available for $149.
anyone here buy form http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php ? good deals and easy to deal with

Awesome!~

I've shot the .500 Smith and it is a BEAST! I've got both the Desert Eagle .44 and .50 so when I a buddy showed up with the .50 revolver... I knew it was going to be a bruiser.

They're a blast to shoot, but NOTHING is more entertaining than watching someone else shoot 'em for the first time. Just the percussion alone freaks'em out.

Yeah, they are cheap and plentiful. The Archangel stock is pretty sick. Normally, I don't like to modify an actually military surplus rifle but I found one that someone botched the stock. That's fair game in my eye plus they made 37 million of them. lol
