Took my 1LE to the track a few weeks back

It's probably the hardest car to launch ever. 285/30ZR/20's on road race suspension. My best 60-ft was a 2.07. I did make a few low 13 runs at 112.

Thanks guys! There's a bunch of guys with 1LE's on Camaro5.com. The fastest has gone 12.77, so i'm not too far off. 1LE's are actually a little slower in the 1/4 then a regular SS 6-speed. The 1LE's have 3.91 rear gears and different transmission ratios which makes us have to shift into 4th at around the 1100ft mark. That extra shift kills a little ET. Another thing is that it has a launch control feature, but it's useless on a sticky surface. The car will just wheelhop like crazy. Car is bone-stock. I'm waiting to see what the 2016 Camaro looks like. Supposedly it is going to be 300-400lbs lighter and have a 450hp LT1 variant in it. If the styling is good, i'm going to trade my 1LE in on one. If the styling is meh, then it's mod time! The new one is set to debut at the Detroit auto show in January. Nobody has any leaked photos as of yet.

Qow... then u really are not 2 far. Im interested as well to see these new LT1 camaros...u think it will be a 6th gen or a 5th gen variation?

100% a 6th gen. All new platform. The car will be a little smaller. You don't realize how big a 5th gen is until you park it next to a 4th gen, or better yet a 1st gen.
