It's definitely not TBI (throttle body injection) and it wasn't SFI (sequential fuel injection). It still used batch fire port injection, and waste spark ignition. The LT5 intake has 2 runners per cylinder, one "long" and one "short". Each runner has it's own injector for a total of 16. But only four coils, firing two cylinders simultaneously - one on the compression stroke (=ignition) and one on the exhaust stroke (=waste spark).

Basically, everything from 85 and newer Corvette engines is port injection, at least until the current "direct injection" which injects the fuel directly into the cylinder at extremely high pressure.

Nice car, it surprised me when this one popped up on kijiji, $30,000 Canadian and only 12,000 miles. (I know nothing abut the car other than what I read)
