one small problem, is everyone getting their post notifications? im getting them from every other dite but none from here, not even PM's

Are you talking about the PM notification thing on the header? Mine worked fine, I've received a couple PMs since the site has been back up.

no where everytime someone posts in a thread you are subscribed to you get a email notification, i have all the boxes selected but no email notifications for subscriptions updates or PM's...WTF is up with that...

so your only not getting notified via e-mail?

For starters verify your email is correct in your profile and check your spam email folder in your email.

Your sure your PM notifications are on from the "Edit Options" menu in your control panel?

MeanGreen - Is only PM notification not working? Are your threads showing up as subscribed in the control panel?

For PM E-Mail Notification

Ensure that "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages" is checked.

After you ensure that's correct my only other guess could be that
A) Your e-mail is wrong
B) Your e-mail server is slow
C) Your e-mails are going to a spam folder.

What e-mail service are you using? I'm using gmail and it worked fine for me.

I'll look at your settings in the admin controls. You should be fine, unless it has something to do with your browser blocking pop ups.

Check your browser settings as well.

He's talking about the e-mail notifications. He hasn't mentioned using the popup notification. My guess is it's serverside on his email.

Try to go back to all your threads your subscribed to and try to re subscribe. Could have something to do with the server move.

That's the first thing I did, I'm getting a select few so I don't know what's up I might have yall delete me and re sign up while my post count is still low cause if I don't get notified ill lose track lol but let me do some checking before and ill let yall know if it works later

Wait, do me a favor, empty out the field for the email and attempt to save your settings. It probably won't let you so re-enter your email and then TURN OFF the notifications option.

Once you do that, turn it back on and re-enter your email. It might be an issue since we moved servers.

If that doesn't work, you just can't come here anymore, lol. :)

who from the LTX staff took a shit in my email inbox cause it just randomly filled up with 20-25 notifications lol some dating back to when we had just got back up

I always get the notifications, but for some reason Hotmail thinks it's unsafe and I have to click 'view this message' before I can read it or click the link to the site. The address it comes from is marked in my 'safe list', and it comes to my normal inbox, but it's flagged as unsafe. This has been the case since day 1.

This is how it is when it first comes to my inbox:

Notice the pink horizontal bar? I have to click where it says 'show content' before it will even let me see the body of the e-mail, then it looks like this:

I then have to click 'show content' again (in the pink bar) to make the link active, then I can click the link to go to the site.

None of my other forums are like this, and no matter what I do I can't get to go away.

I think that's going to a hotmail error. Maybe someone else can chime in who uses hotmail. Your best bet to resolving it (if it's possible) is through settings on hotmail (maybe you can turn that security feature off completely)
