Day at the Track

Spent the day at the local track. Having traction problems big time with these Firestone Firehawk tires, only managed 14.23. Last year I was able to get consistent 13.90s out of it with different tires. Bu had a hell of a day. Raced and beat a Malibu with a 406 stroker I believe, he ran a 14.27 I ran a 14.23 (close race!). I also beat a new v6 genesis 14.3 vs my 14.28. Also ran another F-body, a Camaro with an LT1, TH400, small camshaft upgrade, m/t et streets (28in tire) and full bolt ons; I lost 14.0 to my 14.26. The car is not tuned, currently about to take it apart and put my goodies on, but just wanted to have some fun with it before we get kinda serious!

Ugh that's annoying, I don't like posting videos of me racing even at the track on youtube :/. Just a couple slow cars going at it lol. I raced the Malibu 5 times, each time he kept changing stuff from tire pressure to advancing timing and still couldn't take the slow maro. I was rather upset about my times. These tires don't grab worth crap! Can wait to toss on my mickey e/t streets!

Not sure if its a privacy setting. go to the vids..amd see if there is a little flower looking thing that whe u click on it...will allow u to change privacy settings...then make it to PUBLIC.

Was checking ur profile on here...where are u from? Was it somewhere extremly hot..or a high elevation. Also.. U said ur car is not tuned, what mods have u added that are not compensated for with a tune?
