question on swap into vette

have an L98 91 vette and an extra LT1 engine from my camaro. Do you have to use the vette fead on the C4s? or can the f car be made to work?

I think there may be a typo that makes this hard to understand. "fead"?????

The F-Body LT1 engine will work in a C4, but the accessory drive bracket, the crank hub for the damper, and the number of knock sensors would be different. The Corvette also use a superior, closed, pressurized, self-venting cooling system. The fuel hard line connections are on the opposite side. Think the starter may be different. Oil pan is probably different. Then there would be the issue of whether you could integrate the C4 LT1 ECM/PCM into the 91. You can't run an LT1 engine with any factory computer other than an LT1 ECM/PCM, unless you do a "24X" conversion that allows you to run the LT1 on an LS1 PCM..
