I recently did a th400 swap and replaced my auto shifter in my 95 Camaro Z28 with a Cheetah shifter. Now it will not crank. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mark

What did u do with the park/neutral cable that goes to the ignition switch on the bottom of the column? If you removed the cable did you physically flip the switch so its made?

I tried to flip the switch. I guess I don't understand how. Do you mean to flip the plastic part of the switch without the bracket or with the bracket? I put the cable back on and pushed and pulled it while turning the key still nothing.
Also the plug with yellow, brown, orange black wires that went to the factory shifter supposed to be connected to anything?

See the answer I posted to the same question on CamaroZ28.com with wiring diagrams from Shoebox.

The park/neutral switch is on the side of the stock shifter. If the Cheetah has a P/N safety switch you need to use the yellow and brown wires. There is also a backup light switch on the range selector on the stock shifter. If the Cheetah had one, it uses the brown and light green wires. The cable to the steering column prevents you from turning the ignition switch off/lock until the stock shifter is in park. The Cheetah won't have that feature, so you just have to insure the cable is left in a position that allows the ignition switch to turn to off.
