Im in the market for a used bike. Ive all ways had sport bikes in the past. Now I just want a criuser. Ive been looking at some sportsters, yahama v stars and suz. intruders. Really dont now what is the best way to go. It will be mostly to ride to work 10 mile round trip. But something i can just go criuse on and be comfrontable. Any ideas.

Heard a lot of good things about the Honda Victory. You can always resort to a standard bike too, instead of a sport bike for comfort. I have a Z1000 and ride it almost two hours every day for work. Very comfortable and has enough power at least for me.

Id ride the 883 before you make any judgement on likely it. Id say It depends on your skill level and how big you are. I have a friend that's 5'9ish and skinny, 883 sportster works ok for him. Me being 6'3 and over 200, not gonn work... I had a big bike, chopper with 110cu in. (1850cc) loved it... but it was also a lot more than 3k... id say go ride a few things and see what you like/what feels comfy. I love harleys, but if youre looking for cheaper and still reliable, an import bike is prob a better bet. Dont get as much harley for the money as something from them.

Making you silky smooth...
